On Sunday we had our first club trip of the season. Last season we had a great time watching Englands Lionesses and also Forests green (men and women).

First up this season was a trip to watch Swindon Women in a top of the table clash with Money fields. The trip was a great opportunity for our girls teams to watch more local women's football but also to get to meet Swindon players Issy Cook and Isi Meade. Izzy Cook is someone who we are very proud of who came through the club playing in a boys team for 10 years before moving onto academy football, England youth teams and now playing for Swindon Town.

An opportunity for our girls to meet someone who has gone through and played on the same pitches as they do is something rare to see and someone they can look upto and see that what is possible through effort, attitude and determination. A brilliant experience for our girls and a thoroughly enjoyable day made even better by a Swindon Win.
