A couple of weeks ago we paid tribute to Amelie Zeal who passed away in July. One of her ambitions was the walk from John o Groats to Landsend when she got better, something she sadly didn't get to fulfill.

With this in mind family and friends have organised an 11 hour rowing challenge with the aim of rowing 838 kilometres and raising funds for Amelie's fundraiser campaign in support of brain cancer and end of life care.

The event will take place on November 8th at Stroud Rugby Club with teams of 3 people rowing for an hour (5 minutes of rowing, then 10 mins of rest). The kilometres rowed will add up cumulatively to hopefully reach the target of 838km.

We are looking for teams of 3 who would like to take part and row, whether you are an experienced rower, into fitness or just keen to take part.
