Recently our under 11 lions went into the Keith Pitman's cup, held by the Cotswold Youth league. The lions have history in the cup with this being their fourth final in four years, currently being the holder from last season.

Also up against Hunts Grove, the game started slowly with play locked into the midfield areas and nobody wanting to put a foot wrong. Shots flashed wide fit both teams before a first time effort saw the lions lead. Into the second half and the lions had come out to play, applying pressure and putting together some seamless attacks. Hunts Grove had their chance and 2 strong saves as well as a brave sliding claim from the lions keepers. They got their reward though with more goals and at full time claimed the trophy.

Well done Lions, we are so proud of you and your efforts this season. A truly wonderful team and one that loves their football.
