The girls travelled to Evesham to play Gloucester Reds in the league cup semi final.
Gloucester started the brighter, passing the ball well and took the lead with a nicely taken goal.
The girls were level within minutes with a slide rule finish from Poppy. Confidence was high and a lovely reverse pass from Emily found Poppy in space in the Gloucester area, Poppy kept her cool placing the ball in the corner of the net leaving Rodborough 2-1 up at half time

The 2nd half was incredibly tense, both sides working hard, Gloucester equalised with a cool finish giving Connie no chance in goal. The girls didn't let it knock them and once again fought back and immediately retook the lead, Poppy bursting past two defenders and a lovely left foot finish made in 3-2 to Rodborough and completing her hat trick. Could we hold on ?

The girls held their nerve, winning the shoot out 3-1 sending us into the final.

A brilliant team performance from the girls, we are so proud of them. The girls have determination and togetherness and we are so excited for the finals against Prestbury
